Trideum Corporation has an opening for a Software Test Engineer - Intermediate. This is a full-time, on-site position in Fort Belvoir in the Northern Virginia /DC area.

What You’ll Do

Software Test Engineer will provide integration and testing of software applications or application components to support Trideum customers and initiatives supporting technology evaluations, engineering test bed, and demonstration events. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with developers, engineers, and project leads to define front-end and back-end requirements to test.
• Develop and execute software testing plans, measuring results according to predetermined guidelines
• Coordinate with the software team in an agile or scrum environment to track and respond to work items.
• Find, document, and assign work priorities to software bugs.
• Streamline testing process by creating and executing automated test cases.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or applicable engineering or science field
• 3-7 years of relevant experience
• Strong integration and debugging skills and demonstrated knowledge of good testing and QA practices
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills, including the ability to readily decompose complex problems into smaller, manageable tasks
• Experience with workflow applications such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously as well as with large and small teams of programmers, system engineers, and testers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• U.S. Citizenship
• Active U.S. Secret Interim clearance or above

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with simulation, gaming, and interactive products/programs
• Experience testing in both Linux and Windows operating environments
• Experience in software development and debugging practices
• Specialization in one or more of the following areas: UI, Tools Development, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Physics, Graphics, Networking, Math
• Active Secret or TS Clearance
