Position Summary

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about helping the Department of Defense maintain its technological superiority by exploiting both existing and emerging technologies to address known capability gaps, opportunities, and threats.

The selected candidate will work on-site in the Oahu, HI area primarily in government offices. The person in this role will be responsible for assisting OSD R&E with stakeholder engagement, research, assessment, and technical support in transitioning key technologies to operational users.

This is an exciting opportunity for a successful applicant to perform at the cutting edge of defense technology concepts, testing, and fielding. This role will require a combination of geospatial intelligence expertise, operational experience, communication skills, and program management.

This position is contingent upon contract award, with the earliest anticipated start date being September 30, 2024.

What You’ll Do

  • Technology transition and working group participation
  • Identification and execution of advanced modeling & simulation capabilities to support the transition of advanced warfighting architectures for operational use and the development of capabilities needed to realize those designs
  • Development of strategic and technical plans
  • Research to support procurement activities, schedules, and technology/system transfer
  • Support to assessments, demonstrations, and field trials
  • Quantitative analyses of system/mission requirements with respect to the insertion of advanced technologies
  • Assembly of senior advisory panels to provide studies and assessments on the systems and technologies
  • Definition of test objectives and procedures
  • Systems architecture development
  • Travel may be required to accomplish tasks, including travel within the CONUS and OCONUS, and within the NCR to attend meetings, conferences, and training.

Required qualifications:

  • Required: BS in scientific or technological discipline
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience as a GEOINT analyst. Must have the ability to work with cross-functional and Joint teams to address capability assessments for operational and strategic problem sets.
  • Experience includes processing multi-discipline intelligence to generate fused production, indications and warnings, and other threat analysis.
  • Experience including working with COCOMs is highly desirable, as is a network of active contacts within the intelligence community.
  • U.S. Citizen
  • TS/SCI with Counterintelligence-Scope Polygraph - Required

Desired qualifications:

  • MS in scientific or technological discipline
  • Experience providing advice and briefing government leadership regarding critical political, military, or irregular warfare capabilities in support of operational and tactical level planning.
